Big Blue 50 cm 3 Stage De-scaler with steel bracket

A de-scaler prevents lime scale from forming on your elements such as pipes, geysers, kettles, washing machines etc. It uses siliphos crystals which slowly dissolves into the water and keeps Calcium and Magnesium in suspension. The Calcium and Magnesium stays present in the water, but your elements will now be free of scale.

Maximum flow rate of 3000 litres per hour

In some cases where there is extreme lime in the water, the crystals could melt together and cause. In these cases, a water softener might be a more feasible option.

Stages of Filtration:

Stage 1: A 50-micron sediment filter removes sediment, build-up, rust and loose particles and ensure clear water.

Stage 2: An activated carbon filter removes bad tastes and odours as well as chlorine and volatile organic compounds (VOC's)

Stage 3: On the inside of the housing is 5kg of siliphos crystals which needs to be topped up, as it dissolves depending on usage and water quality.
